Who We Are ?

Stonemill Church Atlanta is a multi-ethnic, fully bilingual (English/Spanish), Bible-believing and Bible-centered Evangelical church, launched in the fall of 2013 and joyfully affiliated with the EFCA (Evangelical Free Church of America). We are a Christ-exalting, multi-generational community passionate about building meaningful relationships, equipping leaders, living authentically, and leaving a lasting legacy of faith.

Our Church

Our church is a unique place where people—whether they speak English, Spanish, or both—can sit together, worship side by side, and hear the message in their own language at the same time. This unity in diversity reflects our deep conviction that the Gospel is for all people, regardless of language or background.

Our Community

We are not “different” just for the sake of being different—Scripture is the foundation for our model of ministry. Seven years before the birth of Stonemill Church, God placed Isaiah 66:18–21 on the heart of Pastor Tito Ruiz and his wife, Patricia Ruiz, as they prepared to enter full-time ministry:

“The time is now that I will gather all nations and languages, and they will come and see My glory.” —Isaiah 66:18

We received this passage as a clear calling to serve God’s people—all people, regardless of their geographical or cultural background.

Stonemill

Our name, Stonemill, is a compound of two words: Stone and Mill. God is the millstone, and the Apostle Peter calls us “living stones.” We believe that as God’s living stones, we go through the millstone, and in that refining process, God shapes and defines us into a new creation.

Our Logo

Our logo’s two millstones symbolize this mission—one fixed, representing the unshakable truth of God’s Word, and one turning, representing the church actively engaging the world.

Leadership

Pastor Tito Ruiz was accredited by the Christian and Missionary Alliance and ordained as a minister of the Gospel by the Southern Baptist Convention. He has been married to Patricia Ruiz since November 1999, and together they have two incredible children. Jacob (22) is a Biochemical Engineer from UGA and serves as the lead keyboard player at Stonemill Church. Samuel (18) is a freshman at Georgia State University and serves as our lead tech and visuals director. It is a blessing to see their children loving God and serving Him wholeheartedly in and through the life of the church.
